In May 2008 I broke my leg and was in plaster and a wheelchair for a couple of months. Whilst on eBay I stumbled across Lauren Burch's fabric collection "Fantastic Felines" and was enchanted by the jewel like colours and whimsical cat faces. So I bought some of the fabric, then a sewing machine. Quite a few trips to the local library later, and I had started to sew.
