Oct 2008 - Little Block Challenge
The Contented Cat and the Crafty Quilter websites are setting out a design challenge available to all quilters.
Called the Little Block challenge, it started out in 2006 as a little challenge between a mother and daughter
using a simple block and a few design parameters.
However, they were both amazed at the diversity in their
finished quilts (shown below) that they decided to open the
challenge to quilters everywhere to see what they could come up with.
The rules are
simple: make a quilt approx. 1 metre square using the 4" block below, together with some appliqué bias work.
